Nothing looks different but PracticalUseful.com is now coming to you from my shiney new UK2.net server.
While pay-as-you-host from Metronet has served me well for many years now the reliability of the server my stuff is on has not been great in recent months.
The website I made for Brian and Jackie’s wedding (bnj.org.uk) is also here and over the coming few days most of the other sites on the old server shall be coming here too.

At 4347 words the latest NaNoWriMo novel is making progress. Of course by the end of today I should be on 8335 to stay on target but I feel like I’ve hit a decent pace, at a little over 2000 words a session. I finished chapter one late last night so here is the rest of it, it follows straight on from the previous excerpt…

Belial, seraph of heaven, fell with Satan, Moloch and the others. This is his story.
Nanowrimo 2006 is underway – four days in and I’ve written 2134 words which makes me behind by a mere 4534. I’ve been thinking about the content of this story for well over a year and a half, ever since the character of Belial appeared to me in a dream and I turned him into a screen play scripts for my wee brother’s Film class at Uni, I’ve even done some (shock, gasp) research! The working title is officialy Cado Angelus (Fallen Angels) though the top of the word document currently says “Belial”.
Anyway, here’s chapter 1 so far…
